Following its debut at the Southeastern Specialty Crop Technology Conference in Tifton, Georgia, where growers and media had the opportunity to work with a fully functional, intelligent niche machine in real time, Solinftec has publicly launched the Solix Experience, the industry’s initial smart, on-farm automatic farming experience.
Automated computers regularly moved through the produce while scouting, analysing, and carrying out targeted activities, demonstrating a novel farming system built on distributed knowledge rather than individual machines.
The move was brief for some participants.
They moved through a working culture, seeing decisions being made, how work is carried out, and how the farmer’s function changes as knowledge is often present.
