ADM, a world leader in creative solutions made from nature, announced the rollout of Digital Grain Elevator’s FOB Ag Logistics Platform at a sizable number of U.S. grain creation locations, with plans to continue the business’s North American footprint.
The grain transport and delivery process is simplified and made easier by the online technology, including:
- Suppliers and carriers can quickly and simply ask and transport trucks when they need them, thanks to digital release.
- Real-time presence of in-progress distribution details – including area, status changes and ETA – for suppliers and carriers.
- Easy-to-use online invoicing and booking, eliminating troublesome manual paperwork.
The successful application of this technology to a large portion of our North American footprints has previously aided us in collaborating with our partners to make our work easier and more efficient, according to Alicia Ralston, ADM’s vice president of electric change. ” Nowadays, we’re seeing the benefits of more effective assigning and sales, faster payments owing to automatic payment, and more. We’re expanding our use of this cutting-edge technology, and we urge manufacturers and haulers to get in touch with us so we can show them more about it.
” Innovation is a foundation of ADM’s development strategy, and we’re continuing to expand our tech ecosystem to meet customer needs,” Ralston added”. We just recently made our new Gradable joint venture known, which is a major supporter of our regenerative agriculture initiative and our ability to meet consumer demand for more effectively sourced goods. With the expanding deployment of Digital Grain Elevator, we’re expanding our features, which will help us in a time when more customers are looking for better tracking of supply stores. And there’s more to travel. We’re excited about the many ways our suite of technologies are evolving to better serve our partners and enable the overall value chain to work together more effectively and efficiently for years to come.
” This association with ADM is a major step forward for the coming of Ag travel,” said Aaron Secrest, CEO of Digital Grain Elevator, Inc”. By improving release, tracking shipments, online ticket integration, and integrated invoicing, we’re creating a more refined and open experience for everyone involved.”
ADM is now implementing the FOB Ag Logistics Platform in its northeast grain areas, including Decatur/E. Central IL, Mendota, IL, Evansville, IN, Frankfort/Central IN, Toledo, OH, Windsor, ON, and Memphis, TN, and is continuing a stable growth across its North American creation footprints.
