Wayne Connolly, its president and chairman, passed away, according to the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation ( NASC ).

Connolly had a long history of involvement in the scaffolding industry, including chair of the Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme ( CISRS ).

Before joining the NASC table in 2022, he formerly served as the chair of the account standards committee and as a local chair. In the spring, he presided over the NASC and CISRS chairmanship.

Connolly also promoted best practice and collaboration among global trade organizations while serving as the chair of the International Access and Scaffolding Association ( IASA ).

After operating a number of auto maintenance companies in the North West, he founded Connolly Scaffolding in 1993.

The business expanded and opened a new company earlier this year under his command.
