Former Microsoft execute Shannon Loftis has been appointed as the new head of the board of directors of the International Game Developers Association ( IGDA-F).
Ed Fries, a fellow Microsoft alumnus, is moving down after two productive years as organization’s ceo, and she will continue to serve on the table.
In 2022, Loftis left her position as head of Microsoft’s Age of Empires workshop after more than 30 years of work in game growth.
