Orbia Advance Corporation’s S. A. Netafim, a branch of the B. de C. V. Precision Agriculture firm, has announced a strategic relationship with Phytech LTD, a cutting-edge agtech company known for its recommendations for plant and tree-based water. The world’s leading water business, Orbia Netafim, creates customized precision agriculture options that enable millions of farmers in 110 nations to develop more with less.

Phytech has developed a streamlined, alert-driven mobile system, combining predicted algorithms and data analysis tools that combine constant crop health and friendly economic data, distilled into real-time recommendations. By providing clear visibility into container levels, pumps, filters and valves, Phytech’s mechanical tracking capabilities enable real-time issue detection and predictive maintenance of a farmer’s irrigation system, creating a rapid response to any issue. Growers rely on mechanically checking essential functions or identifying the issue only after the injury has occurred without these “eyes” in the field.

The association will make use of Orbia Netafim’s broad distribution and support system, which will provide mutual customers with real-time information on in-field irrigation operations and data-driven recommendations.

Phytech’s systems will be integrated with GrowSphere, Orbia Netafim’s all-in-one water operating structure, providing both set of customers with deeper presence into their water setting for faster and more accurate tracking. By fully utilizing GrowSphere’s advanced control and automation capabilities, the new partnership creates synergy, enabling customers to receive more precisely timed, responsive irrigation solutions that are customized to their specific crop needs. These may include the detection of low pressure, fertilizer waste, or water waste, which all result in system failure and cost more.

Over the past year, GrowSphere has provided significant benefits to farmers for a variety of crops and across a range of topographies. GrowSphere has proven to increase value per hectare since its initial fertigation stages, improving growers ‘ operational efficiency and ensuring a reliable implementation throughout their irrigation and fertigation journey.

” Having worked closely with Phytech over the years, we have seen their technology’s impressive impact on growers worldwide and we are excited to embark on this partnership”, said Ofer Oveed, SVP Technology and Crops, Orbia Precision Agriculture ( Netafim ). ” By integrating Phytech’s technology with our GrowSphere operating system, we will enhance our technology portfolio, providing better support and visibility for our growers. This collaboration is in line with our commitment to improving the quality of irrigation and providing superior services to our customers.

Phytech’s CEO Oren Kind remarked,” Our technology’s initial success was driven by its ability to tackle key challenges faced by farmers, including offering valuable support in agronomic decisions and real-time monitoring of their hydraulic systems. By teaming up with Netafim, a global leader in precision irrigation, we are poised to extend the reach of our technology worldwide. This partnership will help growers in initiating a crucial digital transformation towards more sustainable and effective agricultural practices and will mark a significant milestone for our company.
