Companies with UK registration may qualify for up to £1.5 million to support tasks that expand the agri-tech and meal technology swarm in Mid and North Wales. This money comes from Innovate UK.

Scope

This contest aims to support top-notch technology initiatives spearheaded by businesses. Assignments can apply for a give of between £25, 000 and £100, 000. Both during and after the project, your company must use the money to expand its creativity activities in Mid and North Wales ‘ agri-tech and food systems cluster. For this contest, Mid and North Wales consists of Calculate, Powys, Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham.

Your job may focus on innovation in agri-tech or food systems.

Both during and after your task, your project may help to growing your development activities in the cluster.

This might be demonstrated by:

  • your local development routines
  • the price that your creativity initiatives add to the cluster
  • your relationship with another development active organisations in the swarm, such as with this Launchpad’s grouping management organisation

Your task

Your task must:

  • have a full grant funding ask between £25, 000 and £100, 000
  • past between 6 and 12 weeks
  • take out all of its venture function in the UK.
  • try to use the findings of or in the UK as leverage
  • no began before 1 April 2025
  • close by 30 June 2026

Certain styles

Your task can focus on one or more of the following:

Productivity or health information:

  • enhancing produces and other elements of productivity of major crops and feedstocks, cattle or aquaculture
  • tool performance, including book approaches for perfection gardening, circular economy or nanotechnology, excluding biochar
  • enhancing the health value of the make

Food control or areas:

  • tale foods that promote healthy, healthy, and wholesome nutrition
  • meal manufacturing and processing, packaging, and health
  • adapting produce to produce new business opportunities
  • supply chain resilience and adaptability, mitigating challenges, interruptions or problems

Ecology or wildlife:

  • animal wellness
  • strategies that reduce pollution, food loss and waste
  • renewable strategies that could reduce biodiversity loss or stop reference scarcity

Lead institution

Your business had:

  • be a UK registered micro, small or medium-sized enterprise ( SME)
