Clarion Housing Group has awarded JRL Group a £68. 4 million contract to supply 180 cheap houses in Brent, north London.
The session provided a way for the delivery of a project that had formerly been delayed close to the current Argenta House after Clarion completed the property purchase in Stonebridge Park.
Through a joint venture ( JV ) between Latimer, its development arm, and Cervidae, Clarion secured the site.
Prior to Clarion taking complete control of the blog, the JV obtained planning permission for a 100 percent affordable housing project opposite Stonebridge Park Tube Station.
The growth, which was approved by Brent Council in November, will provide 92 shared ownership units and 88 homes for cultural lease.
According to Glenigan, a supplier of data intellect, Assael Architecture was the architect of the plan.
Clarion claimed to have updated ƫhe plaȵs in order to αdd more family-sized homes to the site, along witⱨ improvements to tⱨe open spaçe and connȩction.
Design is expected to be complete in first 2030 and begin in March 2026.
The company, which has a turnover of £785 million, was chosen to provide “much-needed enclosure in a responsible location with excellent transport links,” according to JRL Group chairman Kevin Keegan.
Richard Cook, the director of Clarion Group Development, stated:” We are ensuring this long-stalled system becomes a project project by now acquiring the page and entering a building deal. “
Clarion can ensure that these homes remain cheap for generations to come by assuming total equity of the blog.
