Earlier this year at the earliest PAVE/X in San Antonio, TX, LeeBoy unveiled its brand new cement popular field the HB4T. Along with that, the company was able to offer the cement repair trailer as a single package for crater repairs thanks to the company’s LB5013 dish compactor. We spoke with LeeBoy about these new products about about six weeks later at World of Asphalt 2024, and we particularly inquired if LeeBoy does release more in the field of compression. The response at the time was that they were always available to prospect.

It appears as though prospect was ready to turn into reality.

” That’s specifically when the meetings really started”, said Chris Broome, Senior Product Manager at LeeBoy. It was a chance to “get back into the ball company.”

It’s true that LeeBoy formerly had rollers in its portfolio, like the very popular 400 steel roller design. Yet, in the intervening years the wheel industry has undergone a lot of shift, why arrive back then?

Broome responded,” Our dealers have been really looking for another ball solution for a while.” There is a lot of new technologies in this business space right now, but there is still a need for a simple machine that is dependable and only does the job. We think we’ve got a deal that’s off to that task”.

The Target Contractor

Given the three different types of roller they are introducing with this line, who are the best candidates to use as companies?

One day, a LeeBoy customer makes a few driveway turns round and ends up with a small-to-medium-sized industrial parking lot the following day, according to Broome. ” These are n’t highway class rollers, but they are everyday workhorse type machines, for sure. Retailers have told us that customers want a machine that is a much more lean and mean, something along these traces, and that a certain price point, we believe this will meet their needs.

The second logical inquiry was what design LeeBoy paver would work best with these bearings because LeeBoy has a good understanding of who their client base is and what they are asking for.

” I had set the BR36 with our 8500 paver”, Broome said. ” That’s truly your driveway and little parking lot criminal, your community paver. The BR48 may match best with our 8520 or 8608. That’s your large, big box retailer parking lot form system. The SR48 is a more market, professional equipment. It’s small enough to fit into tighter areas that larger earthworks and basic job rollers might not be able to do so quickly.
