Firmly established in the U. S. AgTech trade show scene, the exterior function FIRA USA continues its California visit and will halt in Woodland, near Sacramento, for its 3rd model.

To always meet the needs of producers as closely as possible, FIRA USA 2024 did somewhat provide an expanded collection of computers for specialty plants, vegetables, and vineyards, as well as demonstrations on fruit and nut trees — crops particularly common in this region.

The Business Experience: An Enriched Development

The Tech &amp, Education Day will kick off trials on October 22nd with a plan showcasing the latest advancements in technology, laws, protection, and the famous “robot parade”.

October 23rd and 24th may provide members with insight into the valves enabling the widespread deployment of computers in the grounds: the position of OEMs, distributors and dealers, and manufacturers, technology from generation to selling, as well as pitches and networking times.

These three days will be concluded by the presentation of awards like the best startup ( awards by investor judges ) and the best robot ( awards by attendees ).

The Growers Experience: Roundtables and Demos by Sector

FIRA USA 2024, which is steadfastly focused on ending users, offers producer participants a fresh perspective this year. The software will have themed roundtables, led by Commodity Boards with lectures on existing issues, testimonials, and apply cases from producers, and proposed mechanical solutions, for each market:

  • Vineyards
  • Orchards: fruit trees ( by Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission ), tree nuts ( by the Almond Board )
  • Vegetables: leafy greens, lettuce, tomatoes, fresh vegetables
  • Berries: strawberries

Field demonstrations, as in previous years, will take place on-site and allow participants to see robots and autonomous machines in real operation, while challenging manufacturers and providing opportunities for partnerships. Growers receive free FIRA USA passes in order to make it as accessible as possible for everyone.

The Manufacturers ‘ Experience: California Ag Robotics Discovery Tour

For the first time, a 5-day” Ag market tour” will connect international AgTech leaders and delegations with innovative farms across Sacramento, Davis, the Central Valley area, and Salinas, offering a firsthand look at the latest in agricultural technology.

Participants will have the opportunity to take a personalized journey through the nuances of automation in specialty crops across California and North America from October 17 to October 20. This unique opportunity allows participants to deepen their market understanding, connect with key industry figures, and forge new alliances. A wide range of farms and crops will be on display during the tour.

Calls for Abstracts and Pitches are now open!

Startups interested in investing in agricultural robotics are invited to apply for the call for pitch, which enables them to present their projects to dozens of VCs and M&amp, A.

Additionally, researchers are asked to submit their papers for the Tech &amp, Education Day Call for Abstracts.
