47, 527 guests who attended the event were treated to a lively, wide market that featured Feed to Food products and services from more than 1, 186 international manufacturers and suppliers from over 57 nations.
VIV Asia 2023 concluded properly, as a strong platform for B2B foreign company. Over three times, the present facilitated face-to-face contacts, networking, knowledge-sharing, and a vibrant platform at Bangkok, Thailand. With 47, 527 guests from 112 countries, the occasion maintained its robust attendance and perhaps somewhat exceeded the previous version. Despite the world’s conditions and the past three years of Covid 19 limitations, the movie’s global appeal persisted, confirming its importance as a World Expo.
The event featured more than 1, 186 vendors from 57 countries, representing five countries, showcasing the latest innovations in their particular areas in the three Challenger rooms at Thailand’s mega-venue IMPACT, in a collective of more than 31, 544sqm exhibiting area. Additionally, the co-location with Meat Pro Asia, the best trading system for meat handling and packaging solutions, helps to bring the Feed to Food industry together under one ceiling. The animal proteins industry responded positively to this strong co-location, resulting in great presence. This achievement adds another considerable development to the VIV international series. “VIV Asia is the first VIV present in 2023 and it represents – and rightly so – our goal to join the markets, and improve economy trade both directly and globally”, stated Birgit Horn, Managing Director of VIV Worldwide, during the event.
” It’s always pleasing when a new trade fair is warmly received, and this was certainly the case with this first edition of Meat Pro Asia”, adds Mr Richard Li, Executive Director, Messe Frankfurt ( HK) Ltd.” More importantly, however, it was encouraging to see a high number of energetic business discussions taking place throughout the fairground. It’s obvious from the feedback we’ve received that holding these two exhibitions concurrently is well-liked by both clients and vendors because it brings so many sources together in one place. Everyone will come away with the opinion that Meat Pro Asia is a useful addition to the South East Asian trade good timeline.
A world feed and food method reimagined.
VIV Asia serves as the primary venue for industry officials to present their most recent advances. The innovations from this year covered a wide range of topics, including safe and effective farming technology tools, creative health and health products, and powerful chicken house control systems. Other noteworthy innovation-related events included a regional seminar on Good Farming led by the Federation of Asian Veterinary Association and a Tony Hunter of Future Cubed seminar on new technologies for a more equitable and sustainable global food system. The food system needs to be rethought using the new technology,”. Since the industry is engaged in the supply of food, it needs to consider this problem. This new and crucial topic has been gaining new information, and VIV Asia and Meat Pro Asia are a really great resource for this. I am very impressed with the show”, commented Hunter.
Knowledge-stacked programs were a major highlight at the event. With more than 120 sessions spread over four days, attendees could gain an all-round understanding on industry insights, technologies and best practices. A variety of industry experts gave captivating presentations on the most recent developments in fish and shrimp nutrition at the Aquatic Asia Conference held the day before the show. The Asian Inspiration panel discussion on the first episode of the show featured key speakers who discussed the most recent developments in local and sustainable farming based on the Netherlands model. The majority of the sessions were fully booked, with few opportunities for walk-ins to book them, which demonstrated how crucial it is for the sessions presented at VIV Asia to an audience that is interested in learning and staying current with industry trends.
Looking ahead, VIV Asia will return 12-14 March, 2025, carrying on the tradition of providing a premier platform for the animal protein industry to connect, learn, and innovate. With a strong commitment to delivering a top-notch trade show and knowledge programs, VIV Asia will undoubtedly be another landmark event in the VIV series of events around the world.
