Danish climate solutions company, Agreena, has further consolidated its position as a global leader in regenerative agriculture with the release of its Harvest Year 24 ( HY24 ) figures. More than 2,300 farmers from across Europe have teamed up with Agreena and pledged to embrace renewable farming techniques on 4.5 million hectares, an increase of 2.5 million hectares from the previous year.

These statistics demonstrate how effective Agreena’s high dignity system is in overcoming the obstacles farmers are facing as they commit to regenerative agriculture in increasing numbers. Through its cutting edge, AI-powered, advanced digital measurement, reporting and verification (dMRV ) capabilities, Agreena tracks the impact of regenerative practices at field-level, enabling farmers to generate verified outcomes that can be traded as carbon credits, carbon certificates, impact measures and bespoke data deliveries.

” Producers are discerning determination manufacturers, so it’s very gratifying to see so many of them choose Agreena to help them on their restorative gardening journey”, said Simon Haldrup, Agreena’s CEO. ” It’s even a win-win, given that size allows Agreena to bring in more climate financing for regen producers, whether through supply chain solutions for food and beverage companies, collaborations with financial institutions, or via the voluntary carbon business”.

The business will expand its range of business partnerships and continue to offer carbon credits ( with Verra documentation of Agreena’s pioneering land carbon system expected in the near future ) with exposure to incredibly accurate data from 4.5 million hectares and strong relationships with its farmers. Agreena is already working with renowned companies like AXA Climate, International Finance Corporation ( a division of the World Bank Group ), and global food brands.

” Looking ahead, proud as we are to be actively working with more than 2, 300 farmers on their regen ag transition, there are an estimated 600+ million farms globally – so we still have work to do”, added Haldrup. ” Agreena’s success comes from its ability to connect people, nature, and technology to power the regenerative movement. To ensure a global transformation of agriculture, we must now fully utilize our digital platform for further expansion and automation.

Introducing Almanac: Wisdom for Smarter, More Efficient Farming

Large/enterprise farm businesses across Europe account for the majority of the land currently in Agreena’s program. The company will be creating product-led innovations in 2025 to support smaller farmers on their regen ag journey, which will include a focus on its digital interface with farmers, building on the capabilities that were provided by the company’s earlier this year purchase of farm management software provider, fieldmargin.

Agreena is building a powerful network of farmers, businesses, and experts to ensure the future of agriculture. This will enable organizations and businesses to collaborate with farmers of all sizes to restore our soils, decarbonize the food system, and promote a better planet for everyone.
