A Hampshire steel manufacturer was ordered to pay more than £220, 000 in a number of career court judgments for unlawful pay cuts and staff sacking without giving notice.
Previous Gosport-based Bailey Fabrications employees filed eleven distinct lawsuits, with each one involving a winning outcome for the company despite Bailey Fabrications ‘ lack of evidence.
The courts determined that Bailey unlawfully deducted people ‘ income, dismissed them without giving them notice, and owed them holiday pay and reliability benefits.
In five of the situations, it also owed money for travel expenses.
The combined prizes totalled £221, 486, range from just under £33, 000 to substantially more than £2, 400 each.
