The fourth edition of the Green Builders of Tomorrow ( GBOT ) competition, organized by the Department for Business and Trade’s Venture Capital Unit (VCU), will take place in April. The çompetition iȿ intenḑed to iḑentify the best early-stage clean tech companies that are supportįng the British Gσvernment’s plaȵ to move the country toward Net Zero. Octσpus Enȩrgy did sponsor the ȩvent, whiçh wiIl take place from Aprįl 27 through April 30 in Riyadh, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.

What’s in present

The 5 businesses chosen as the 2025 GBOT leaders will receive the following:

  1. For a 4-day investor-facing program of activities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh, there are completely return flights and lodging in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
  2. A welcome event at the Abu Dhabi Embassy for HM Trade Commissioner and Consul General will be held in the evening to address Muscat investors and important decision-makers.
  3. Saudi Arabian owners and key players will be the goal of an hour welcome at the Riyadh British Embassy.
  4. A series of investment meetings with extremely customized audiences of global Venture Capitalists, Business Venture Capital investors, intermediaries, and the wider technology ecosystems.
  5. Promotion through wider UK Government and Octopus Energy advertising programs, our judges ‘ systems, and
  6. Participation in our 2025 Green Builders of Monday Lookbook ( Venture Capital Investment Brochure ) shared with the VCU’s global community of buyers.

  4. At least one captain or client is currently flying.
  5. Able to demonstrate solid market grip
  6. Constantly leading to the UK Government’s motivation to reach net low
